A Charity is a foundation that is built for a cause. What I realize is that we should all be a foundation, a foundation for a better future, a foundation for a world without disease, and a foundation that protects every child from these diseases.
I have had so many people reach out to my family and myself since my diagnosis with cancer that it was even more important that we give back and focus our efforts as social entrepreneurs.
At MMM we are committed to working closely with various foundations that have a similar goal, of one day finding a cure for cancer, and we are proud to be associated with these charities. Our decision to contribute $2.00 from the sale of each of our new MMM cookbook, to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, is a demonstration of our mission towards breast cancer research.
