Oatmeal for the Soul

Oats are loaded with a soluble fibre called beta-glucan which has been proven to help lower cholesterol levels.  Their antioxidant properties also help protect the healthy LDL cholesterol from free radicals. In this trio, we create a big batch of hearty oatmeal cookie dough which can be added to buckwheat pancakes or baked as is and made into ice cream sandwiches.
